Newcastle United eye Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville

Newcastle United are interested in signing Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to talkSPORT. The report has claimed that Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is a big admirer of Summerville.

TalkSPORT has reported that Newcastle are looking to sign a winger after missing out on Michael Olise, who recently moved to Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace. Summerville is on the radar of the Magpies and is likely to leave Leeds because of the West Yorkshire club’s failure to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the last season.

Summerville has been on the books of Leeds since 2020 when he joined from Feyenoord. The Netherlands Under-21 international has been an important player for Leeds in recent seasons. In the 2023-24 campaign, the winger scored 20 goals and gave nine assists in 44 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds.
