Newcastle United eye Moise Kean

Newcastle United are interested in signing former Everton striker Moise Kean in the summer transfer window, according to The Chronicle. The report has claimed that Newcastle have until the end of July to trigger the £43 million release clause in the Fiorentina striker’s contract.

Kean failed to make a huge impact at Everton, but the 25-year-old Italy international striker has been superb for Fiorentina since joining the Italy club in the summer of 2024. Kean has scored 20 goals and given three assists in 34 matches in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Newcastle, though, are not the only club who have watched Kean this season. There is speculation that Premier League rivals West Ham United are also interested in signing the striker from Fiorentina, who are eighth in the Serie A table at the moment with 48 points from 29 matches, five points behind fourth-placed Bologna.
