Newcastle United are interested in signing Christian Pulisic from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that Newcastle have asked Chelsea to be kept informed of any attacking players who could become available this month, and one particular footballer they are looking at is Pulisic.
Pulisic can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and has been on the books of Chelsea since 2019. During his time at the Blues so far, the USA international has scored 19 goals and created 12 big chances in 75 appearances in the Premier League.
The youngster made 13 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process. Pulisic also made four starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
