Newcastle United are interested in signing Raphinha from Premier League rivals Leeds United in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that Newcastle have been impressed by the Brazil international winger and would like him to be part of Eddie Howe’s team at St. James’ Park
Raphinha joined Leeds from Rennes in the summer of 2020 and has been superb for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The Brazil international has established himself as a key figure at Elland Road and is now regarded as one of the best attacking players in the Premier League.
The Leeds no. 10 has scored six goals in 12 Premier League matches so far this season. Raphinha made 26 starts and four substitute appearances in the league for the West Yorkshire club last season, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in the process.
