Newcastle United are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. Pogba is out of contract at Premier League and European giants Manchester United at the end of the season, and Newcastle are among the clubs keen on securing the services of the France international midfielder.
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle have won their last three Premier League games, and although there is still a danger that they could get relegated, the Magpies now look like having their English top-flight status intact. Earlier in the season, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) bought Newcastle, which means that the Magpies now have the richest owners in world football.
Pogba is one of the best players in the world who has won league titles with Juventus in Italy and the World Cup with France. Newcastle are unlikely to challenge for major trophies right away, and Pogba may not been keen on a switch to a club who are about to start their journey to glory.
