Newcastle United are interested in signing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also looking at Semenyo and have been following his progress at Bournemouth.
Semenyo has been on the books of Bournemouth since January 2023 when he joined from Bristol City. The Ghana international can operate as a striker, winger or second striker. Semenyo scored eight goals and gave two assists in 25 Premier League starts last season and has scored three goals and provided one assist in eight league matches for the Cherries so far this campaign.
Football Insider has reported that Bournemouth could demand a fee of between £40 and 50million for Semenyo. The Cherries are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from eight matches, six points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and eight points above the relegation zone.
