Newcastle United are interested in signing former Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to Jeunes Footeux. The report in the French news outlet has claimed that Newcastle have made the signing of the 24-year-old a priority, and that the Magpies will have to pay £38.5million in transfer fees.
Solanke played in all of 46 matches in the Championship for Bournemouth this season, scoring 29 goals and providing seven assists in the process. The Cherries won automatic promotion to the Premier League after finishing two points behind winners Fulham in second.
Newcastle are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 36 matches.
