Newcastle United linked with Brentford striker Ivan Toney

Newcastle United are interested in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the summer of 2023, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Magpies are looking for more goals despite signing Alexander Isak and are looking into the possibility of bringing Toney back to St. James’ Park

Toney has been superb for Brentford over the years, both in the Championship and in the Premier League. The 26-year-old English striker has scored six goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League appearances for the Bees so far this season. In 2020-21, the striker scored 12 goals and provided five assists in the league.

Newcastle United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from nine matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves 11th in the league table with 10 points from nine games.
