Newcastle United are interested in signing Cameron Carter-Vickers from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to SBI Soccer. The report in the US news outlet has claimed that Newcastle have joined other clubs in the race for the USA international central defender.
Carter-Vickers is on loan at Celtic from Tottenham at the moment and is scheduled to return to his parent club at the end of the season. The 24-year-old moved to the Hoops in the summer of 2021 and is on the verge of winning the Scottish Premiership title with the Glasgow giants.
Newcastle are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 36 matches.
