Newcastle United are interested in signing Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Premier League club Newcastle are planning to make an approach to Championship side Leeds for Summerville.
Leeds, though, do not want to sell the winger, according to the report in TEAMtalk. It has been claimed that the West Yorkshire club will try their best to stop a transfer from happening. TEAMtalk has added that the winger himself has no desire to leave Leeds in the middle of the season.
Daniel Farke’s Leeds are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 48 points from 26 matches. The West Yorkshire club are seven points behind Ipswich Town in second. Summerville has made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in the process.
