Newcastle United linked with Manu Kone

Newcastle United are interested in signing Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. Newcastle are looking for a midfielder who can score goals, and the report has claimed that Kone is a player that the Premier League club are keen on.

Kone has been on the books of Monchengladbach since 2021 and has established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the Bundesliga. The 22-year-old midfielder has made 15 starts and three substitute appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring one goal in the process. Kone scored one goal and provided one assist in 30 Bundesliga matches last season.

Newcastle are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 47 points from 31 matches. As for Monchengladbach, they are 11th in the Bundesliga table with 31 points from 28 games. It will be interesting to see if and for how much Monchengladbach sell Kone for if indeed Newcastle made a move for him.
