Newcastle United are interested in signing Tyrese Campbell from Stoke City in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported by the British tabloid that Newcastle manager Eddie Howe himself wants to sign the son of former Everton and Arsenal striker Campbell.
Premier League club Newcastle are ready to offer as much as £20 million for Campbell when the transfer window opens in January. Howe has been a fan of the 21-year-old striker for a while now and was an admirer of him since he was the manager of Bournemouth.
The former England Under-20 international striker has had injury problems this season, but he is now back in action. Campbell has made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship so far this season, scoring two goals in the process.
