Newcastle United are ready to sell Miguel Almiron in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab are keen on signing Almiron in the middle of the season, and that Newcastle have agreed a deal in principle with them to sell Almiron.
However, Newcastle are facing an issue in trying to offload Almiron in the January transfer window. The 29-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is not fully convinced about a move to the Saudi Pro League and feels that he has a lot to prove still in the Premier League.
Almiron has made 18 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process. He has scored one goal in four starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Eddie Howe’s side this season.
