Newcastle United are interested in signing Scott McTominay from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that despite having signed Sandro Tonali from AC Milan already this summer, the Magpies remain keen on Scotland international midfielder McTominay.
The report has claimed that Manchester United are ready to sell McTominay this summer. The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners want £25 million in transfer fees for the Scotland international midfielder. West Ham United are also reported to be interested in him.
McTominay made 10 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United last season. The 26-year-old scored one goal in the process. The midfielder also made one start and six substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for the Red Devils, scoring one goal in the process.
