Newcastle United want £20m for Kieran Trippier

Newcastle United want £20 million in transfer fees for Kieran Trippier, according to The London Evening Standard. The report has claimed that reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are keen on the former Tottenham Hotspur right-back and have had several bids for him rejected. Newcastle want £20 million for the 33-year-old.

Trippier has been on the books of Newcastle since 2022 when he joined from Atletico Madrid. He has done well for the Magpies, although in recent weeks, he has not been at his best. The 33-year-old has made 170 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored five goals, given 32 assists, and kept 47 clean sheets in those games.

Newcastle are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 21 matches. Meanwhile,  Bayern currently find themselves second in the Bundesliga table with 44 points from 18 matches, four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
