Newcastle United are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in the summer of 2022, according to The Sun. It has been reported that Brozovic is out of contract at Italian giants Inter at the end of the season, and Premier League club Newcastle are keen on bringing him to St. James’ Park on a free transfer.
Premier League club Newcastle have recently been bought by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). The Magpies now have the wealthiest owners in world football who want to take the club to a whole new level.
Newcastle have made initial contract over Brozovic and are willing to pay the 28-year-old midfielder big money. The Croatia international is settled in Milan and would prefer to stay at Inter, but he wants £5 million per year as salary and the defending Italian champions are willing to pay him £4.2 million per year.
