Newcastle United are interested signing Tammy Abraham from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Northern Echo. It has been reported that the Magpies have spoken to Chelsea officials about signing the striker on a loan deal.

Chelsea are reluctant to sanction a loan move for Abraham right now, but the European champions could change their stance in the coming weeks and months. Callum Wilson is the main striker at Newcastle, and although the 29-year-old has done for the Magpies this season, he has had injury problems.
