(GSM) – Newcastle United are ready to sell star defender Steven Taylor after contract negotiations were broken-off.
The 24-year-old English defender has now been put on the transfer list after the player and his club failed to agree on the financial aspects of a contract deal.
With Taylor’s contract set to expire at the end of the current season, the Magpies have decided they may have to cash in on him before he leaves the club for free.
A spokesman said: “We can confirm that Steven Taylor is on the transfer list.”
A host of clubs, including Premier League champions Chelsea, have been linked with Taylor in the past.
