Neymar and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement over a new contract for the Brazilian star, according to French outlet Telefoot.
Ever since his world-record transfer from Barcelona to the Ligue 1 champions, reports, mostly coming from Spain, kept suggesting he regretted the switch and was keen to go back, and it has even been claimed that at one point he had handed in a transfer request. However, more recently, Neymar himself opened up on the situation and expressed satisfaction with the project unfolding in the French capital, as well as his intention to renew his commitment to the club.
Apparently the contract he is about to sign is set to keep him at the Parc des Princes until the summer of 2026, for years beyond the end of the current one.
With no potential suitors willing, or indeed able, to match the wages on offer in Paris, the talks between the player and the club have been steadily progressing since January and have now reached a point where both parties are satisfied.
