Santos striker Neymar has already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, according to his agent.
Ribeiro met with Real Madrid vice-president Fernando Fernandez Tapias yesterday to negotiate Neymar’s personal terms and has now revealed that the meeting was very successful.
“The economic issue is already agreed,” Ribeiro told Folha de Sao Paulo.
Neymar will be earning €5 million per season at Santiago Bernabeu and as soon as the two clubs agree on the transfer fee he will complete the move to Real.
Ribeiro didn’t want to close the deal before consulting the player himself, but there are no doubts that the Brazil international will be very satisfied with the latest offer.
The player is eager to remain at Santos at least until December and help the team at the Club World Cup in Japan, meaning that the transfer could be completed in January.
