Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo is adamant that neither Neymar, nor Kylian Mbappe, will be leaving the club this summer.
The Ligue 1 champions signed Neymar from Barcelona in a still-holding world record transfer in 2017, despite the Catalan club doing their best to stop the move from happening. Plenty of reports, mostly coming from Spain, suggest that the Brazilian has since regretted his decision and is keen to return to the Camp Nou. There were a lot of controversies on the subject last summer, but the 28-year-old eventually stayed put.
Mbappe, on the other hand, is the world’s arguably most valuable player right now and Real Madrid are reportedly looking to make the 21-year-old the long-term successor to Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the Spanish capital to join Juventus in 2018.
As quoted by AS, Leonardo said that he sees no reason to believe that either of PSG’s two most-expensive stars would leave the Parc des Princes this summer. Both players have two years remaining on their contracts, and both are included in the club’s plans for the future.
