Neymar & Di Maria want Messi at PSG

According to a recent report from ESPN, Neymar and Angel Di Maria are both attempting to lure Barcelona star Lionel Messi to Paris Saint-Germain.

Both men have extensive experience playing with the multiple time Ballon d’Or winner, with Neymar partnering him at Barca and Di Maria playing alongside him for Argentina.

The race to try and sign the veteran forward is going to be tough with a string of top clubs being in the fight, although at this moment in time, it does feel as if Manchester City are in the driving seat.

PSG certainly have the money and credentials necessary to be involved in the conversation, but with each and every passing day, it’s looking more and more likely that Messi’s next destination will be the Etihad as he gears up for a Guardiola reunion.

Either way, though, this will continue to be the biggest transfer story of the summer – and it isn’t close.
