Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 2-0 victory in the Coupe de France courtesy of goals from Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria.
Brazilian forward Neymar was once again in the centre of attention.
Former Barcelona star suffered a fractured metatarsal and left the pitch in tears after being constantly hackled by the opposition players.
Strasbourg manager Thierry Laurey accused Neymar of mocking his team as he defended his men for putting an extra pressure on the Brazilian.
“I understand if my players had enough of being mocked. It’s good to protect people, but there are some limits. When you make a pass with your back, it’s mocking people. When you exceed the limits, you have to take responsibility”, Thierry Laurey said.
As for Neymar, he did his talking on the pitch.
He was fouled three times in a few seconds by Moataz Zemzemi and went on to reply by pulling a rainbow flick on the player.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel defended his player after the game.
“It was a situation where he was fouled three times, one after the other. The referee didn’t give anything. He twisted his foot,” said Tuchel.
