Neymar given permission to leave Barcelona

The biggest transfer story of the summer is slowly drawing to a close according to reports from Spain.

Various media outlets from the country are reporting Brazilian superstar Neymar has been given permission to leave Barcelona and complete his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The French giants are prepared to fork out whopping £198 million and crush the world record to land the Brazilian who is set to get out of the shadow of Leo Messi, which is said to have played a great part in Neymar’s decision to leave.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward joined Barcelona squad in training on Wednesday morning after a two-day break, during which time he flew to Dubai to complete the negotiations with PSG owners.

Neymar is said to have informed his teammates that he is leaving, said goodbye and left the training ground without joining the morning session.

Manager Ernesto Valverde confirmed the player will not train with the rest of the squad as he is ‘sorting out his future’.
