A report from Talk Sport today suggests that Brazilian sensation Neymar could be on the way to Barcelona next summer.
He is currently impressing massively at his hometown club Santos – but will be ready to make the next step in his career next summer and show European football what he is made of.
La Liga giants Barca have been interested in Neymar for a while now, but have been unable to secure his services and it was thought that he would remain in Brazil until after they hosted the 2014 World Cup.
However, reports now suggested that he will be heading to the Nou Camp next year for a fee believed to be in excess of £30 million.
There has of course been a whole host of clubs interested in the Brazilian international, include Ligue 1 big spenders Paris Saint Germain – but Neymar did not want to play in France.
It is now thought he will join Barcelona, despite interest from their bitter rivals Real Madrid.
The story is one to keep an eye on and it could be one of the biggest transfers of next summer’s window as Neymar is one of the most highly-rated players in the game at the moment.
