Neymar in talks over new PSG contract

It looks like all the transfer talks regarding Neymar and various other clubs linked with him could be over. Neymar’s father spoke to the media on Monday and revealed something many have not taken into consideration. The player is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a contract extension.

“We are already talking about an extension with PSG”, his father said, Goal.com have reported. The Brazilian is just two years into his five-year contract, but due to constant talks about Neymar potentially leaving the club, the French club want to end that intense speculation. Neymar’s father has his view of the situation.

“People say: ‘Neymar is in all the transfer rumours to the big clubs in each transfer window’. This means that there is good management of his career, he is always among the names [of clubs who matter]. But that does not mean he’s going to go to one club or another.”
