Neymar no closer to Barcelona return

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, the rumoured return of Neymar to Barcelona is no closer to reaching a conclusion. The belief is that their most recent offer of a two year loan deal with a £150 million obligation to buy is being considered, but even with that deal being in play, it feels like PSG are going to want more of an upfront payment before they agree to sell.

We’re getting closer and closer towards the end of the summer transfer window now, which is why so many fans are expecting Neymar to just end up staying at Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions are clearly still interested in keeping him on the books, but the controversial Brazilian forward already appears to have one eye on La Liga once again.

Given the way he was perceived to have treated Barcelona when he left the first time around, it’s certainly interesting to see how eager they are to bring him back on board.
