Recent reports have been linking Neymar with a return to Brazil, but as relayed by Fabrizio Romano, his agent has denied those rumours and made it perfectly clear the 32-year-old has no intention of leaving Al-Hilal at this point.
The Saudi club are believed by some to be unhappy with Neymar’s injury record. The former Paris Saint-Germain star is currently out with a recurrence of a hamstring problem, and he’s only made two appearances this season so far, a total of 42 minutes. His return to action is expected around mid-December.
It’s been claimed that Neymar was on course to return to Santos, where he made his professional debut back in 2009, and that the talks around the move was a work in progress. However, agent Pini Zahavi says that’s not true, that Neymar is happy at Al-Hilal, and that only himself and Neymar’s father can talk about the player’s future.
🚨🇧🇷 EXCL — Neymar’s agent Pini Zahavi: “There are no talks ongoing for Neymar to leave Al Hilal. He’s under contract and very happy there”.
“Neymar’s father and me, we are the only people who can talk about Ney’s future. I don’t know where recent rumours are coming from”. pic.twitter.com/6l9IvnbHMy
