The return of Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain appears to be edging closer. According to AS, who quote reports in the French media, the Ligue 1 champions have lowered their demands for letting the Brazilian go for a second time. Apparently, PSG are now willing to accept €130 million plus two players for his services.
A few days ago, reports emerged in Spain that Neymar had already agreed personal terms with Barcelona and was prepared to take a 50% pay-cut on what he earns at the moment in Paris. With him so desperate to leave the Parc Des Princes, it seems PSG are willing to let him go back to the Camp Nou – for suitable compensation.
AS believe that the names of Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitić and Samuel Umtiti will be included in the negotiations as potential make-weights in addition to the €130 million. Both Dembele and Coutinho have so far failed to fill the void left by Neymar when he left Barcelona for PSG for €222 million two years ago.
