Ngoo sent back to Liverpool

Championship side Yeovil Town have cancelled Michael Ngoo’s loan spell with the club, according to BBC Sport.

The 6ft 6in striker moved to Huish Park from Liverpool for the season during the summer, but has been sent back to Anfield having failed to score in seven league appearances for Gary Johnson’s men.

He is yet to make a first team appearance for the first team with the Merseyside cub, but made eight appearances in the NextGen series during the 2011/12 campaign, scoring once.

He had a more successful loan spell with Heart of Midlothian last season, netting four times in fifteen Scottish Premier League games, and once in the Scottish League Cup.

Internationally, he has represented England at U19 and U20 levels, and played in all three of England’s group games at the U20 World Cup in Colombia two years ago though he, nor anyone else in Brian Eastick’s squad managed to get on the score-sheet.
