Nice hoping Dynamo will lower asking price for Belhanda

French media outlet Le 10 Sport is reporting that Nice plan to sign Moroccan midfielder Younas Belhanda on permanent basis.

Les Aiglons recruited the 27-year-old on loan from Dynamo Kiev with an option to buy for €9 million last summer, and they have been quite satisfied with the player’s contribution.

As a result, Nice have opened talks with the Ukrainian giants over a permanent transfer, but they hope to lower the asking price.

Les Aiglons do have some financial problems at the moment and they will not be able to match the agreed clause, meaning the deal could fall through if Dynamo fail to lower their demands.

Much will depend though on club’s finishing position in Ligue 1 and whether they can secure Champions League qualification that would bring a welcome windfall.

Younas Belhanda has been in fine form this season, producing 3 goals and as many assists in 22 league appearances.
