Nice keeper set for Besiktas move

Nice keeper David Ospina is on the verge of sealing a move to Turkish giants Besiktas, according to L’Equipe.

The 23-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in French Ligue 1 and has seen his name linked with a number of high-profile sides.

After spending last four seasons with les Aiglons, the Colombian has just one year left on his contract, meaning that he is likely to be sold this summer.

Turkish giants Besiktas plan to take advantage of the circumstances and have offered the player a €2.2 million yearly wage.

Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere has confirmed in L’Equipe that the player’s departure should materialize “fairly quickly”.

Les Aiglons want around €3 million for the player who has featured in 134 Ligue 1 games since arriving to the club from Atletico Nacional.
