West Ham United are on the verge of signing Niclas Füllkrug from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, according to The Times. The report has claimed that Premier League club West Ham have reached an agreement worth an initial £23 million for the Germany international striker.
Füllkrug has been on the books of Dortmund since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Werder Bremen. The 31-year-old striker scored 12 goals and gave eight assists in 27 starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and scored three goals and provided three assists in 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League last season.
West Ham finished ninth in the Premier League table last season and will be aiming to challenge for the top six in the standings next campaign. As for Dortmund, they ended up fifth in the Bundesliga table last season and will be aiming to challenge for the title next campaign.
