France Football understands that Cameroon defender Nicolas N’Koulou has already decided to leave his current employers at the end of the season.
The highly rated defender will be out of contract in June and he is very disappointed not to have been offered a contract extension at Stade Velodrome.
And with quite a few top sides showing interest in his signature, the 25-year-old has made up his mind and told the club chiefs he would be leaving in the summer.
This will be another major blow for Marseille, and not only because they already saw Andre-Pierre Gignac, Andre Ayew and Jeremy Morel leave on a free transfer this summer, but also because they only recently rejected a €10 million proposal from Lyon for N’Koulou.
The Cameroon hotshot has yet to announce the name of his new club, but nobody will be surprised if he eventually ends up moving to Stade Gerland.
