Manchester City succumbed to a shocking defeat away to Norwich City who have only just returned to the Premier League.
They conceded two goals within half an hour, courtesy of Kenny McLean and Todd Cantwell, before Sergio Aguero pulled one back for the champions just ahead of the break. Five minutes into the second half, Nicolas Otamendi was far too casual as the visitors tried to play out from the back and allowed himself to be dispossessed by Emiliano Buendia, who then squared it up for Teemu Pukki for an easy tap-in. Rodri’s long-range strike with two minutes remaining turned out to be a mere consolation with the final score 3-2 for Norwich.
The result has now given Liverpool a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
