Nigerians held by Mozambique

Nigeria’s dreams of featuring at the 2010 World Cup suffered a major blow as they were held to a scoreless draw in Mozambique.

The Nigerians hoped to start their final phase campaign with a convincing win, but the team that included players as Obafemi Martins and Peter Odemwingie failed to make a difference.

As a result, Mozambique and Nigeria now shar second place in Group 2, led by Tunisia who defeated Kenya on Saturday.
