Turkey will attempt to get their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign back on track when they face Spain on Wednesday in Istanbul following a 1-0 defeat to the same rivals just four days ago.

“if it is merely a dream for Turkey to beat Spain”, the Villarreal striker Nihat replied, “I have had a lot of dreams in my sleep and I always forget them when I wake up, but to beat Spain is not a dream.

“However, we can’t forget that we will be playing against the best team in the world, but Turkey have always been playing with the same style, which is to go for the win. The atmosphere will be impressive, but it won’t be ‘hell’ in a bad sense of the word, rather in a good way,” he added, in reference to the world famous hellish ambience in the stands of the Ali Sami Yen Stadi.
