Hoffenheim starlet Niklas Sule has made it clear that he is not interested in joining Italian giants AC Milan in the January transfer window.
It is no secret that the Rossoneri aim to recruit a high-quality central defender at the earliest opportunity, and the Germany international is reportedly high on their wish list.
But, while he has moved to confirm the approach from AC Milan, Niklas Sule has suggested he is currently not interested in moving to San Siro.
“I know that my agent was contacted, that is flattering, but a move to AC Milan is not an issue,” Sule confessed to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 21-year-old has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last couple of years, establishing himself as one of the leading stoppers in Germany’s top flight.
Despite his fragile age, Sule already has 88 Bundesliga appearances for his name, while he has left his mark on the international stage as well.
The youngster first helped Germany finish as runners up at the 2016 Summer Olympics, before he was handed his full Die Mannschaft debut just ten days after the defeat in the final.
