For a long time it seemed Eddie Nketiah would leave Arsenal as a free agent at the end of the season as he pointed out he needed more game-time, but as per multiple reports, the striker has changed his mind and is now set to sign a new contract, one that would be set to keep him at the Emirates until the summer of 2027.
Crystal Palace, West Ham and two Bundesliga clubs have approached Nketiah, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano, while reports elsewhere named the likes of Newcastle and Brighton and Hove Albion as clubs interested in the services of the player who turns 23 on Monday.

Arsenal are set to lose Alexandre Lacazette as a free agent this summer, and after what happened with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nketiah decision was always set to affect their situation in the striker department severely. Manager Mikel Arteta will therefore be glad of this turn of events, even though the club are still set to make their move for Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City.
