Marseille stopper Nicolas N’Koulou is considering his options, according to French media outlet France Football.
The Cameroon defender is one of just a handful of star players that remained at Stade Velodrome after a number of his teammates had decided to leave last summer.
N’Koulou was on the verge of joining Lyon a couple of months back, but Marseille ultimately refused to let him sign for their title rivals.
However, with the club officials having failed to offer the Cameroon star a new contract, the 25-year-old is seriously thinking about leaving in January.
Namely, his current deal is due to expire at the end of the current campaign and N’Koulou is very disappointed not to have been offered a contract extension.
The former Monaco defender has been one of club’s most consistent performers over the last couple of years, making 139 Ligue 1 outings since joining from the Principality, and scoring a total of 5 goals in the process.
