According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur still haven’t received a single bid for Christian Eriksen.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a long time now, with Real head coach Zinedine Zidane currently conducting a thorough overhaul of the squad. The Los Blancos have so far completed the transfers of defenders Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy, and forwards Luka Jović, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo Goes, and they seem to be pushing James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale towards the exit door.
Apart from Eriksen, they’re contemplating a move for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, but they haven’t yet made concrete steps in order to get either move done despite both players recently revealing that they would be open to new challenges.
Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge believes that the transfer of the Danish international “could get messy”, with Spurs starting their pre-season soon and the matter of the 27-year-old’s future unresolved. The north London club have already reinforced their midfield section by signing Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyon for a club-record fee, and they’re currently being linked with Giovani Lo Celso of Real Betis and Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid.
