According to Sky Sports, there is no buy out clause for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire. Essentially this means that the Foxes will be able to reject any and all bids that come in for the England star, so long as they maintain their stance that they aren’t interested in selling him. Maguire put himself firmly on the map during the summer as he played a starring role in helping England to reach the semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which saw a parade of clubs showcase their interest in buying him.
The main one, of course, was Manchester United, who are said to have had a bid of up to £60 million turned down by Leicester. The club were clearly incredibly eager to keep hold of him especially after selling Mahrez to Manchester City, ensuring that they were still able to compete in the Premier League this season without slipping too far down the table.
