Ghana defender Samuel Kuffour will be leaving Ajax Amsterdam after only half a season at the Dutch club.
During the past five months, Kuffour failed to impress the board enough to be offered a contract.
The player made his debut against Excelsior Rotterdam on March 2nd, and played his second and last match later that month against SC Heerenveen, as substitute in stoppage time.
The 32 year old began his career in 1993 at Bayern Munich, where he would stay until 2005. In 2001 he won the Champions League against Valencia.
After Nürnberg, AS Roma and Livorno, Kuffour decided to try his luck in the Netherlands. His next destination remains unknown uptil now.
