According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United have not made a bid of €100 million for Ansu Fati and have not shown any interest in trying to sign the Barcelona star.
For months now we’ve been hearing that United are at the front of the queue in the race to get this deal over the finish line, but it no longer appears as if that’s the case.
If there is one thing that United fans are expecting from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer, it’s that he’s going to be ruthless in the transfer market – or at least try to be. Still, regardless of whether or not this is the kind of move they want to make, the real headline seems to be the nine-figure price tag that is being thrown around. In the current climate, putting forward that kind of bid seems very optimistic, and that’s putting it lightly.
