“This is a great regulatory anomaly that needs to be resolved because we are still dealing with Chelsea and Manchester United today to try to extend their loans.”
Those are the words of Inter Milan CEO Guiseppe Marotta who recently spoke with Sky Italia regarding the future of both Alexis Sanchez and Victor Moses.
The two men, who are on loan from Manchester United and Chelsea respectively, are set to return to their parent clubs in a few days as their initial deals are on the verge of expiring.
They will be unable to play for their parent clubs if they do return, which has obviously served as extra motivation for all parties involved to get some kind of extension over the finish line.
These developments come as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with both Sanchez and Moses hoping to guide Inter towards a strong end to the campaign.
