According to a recent report from Sunday Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said Manchester United won’t pursue a move for Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine forward is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the season and move elsewhere during the summer transfer window. Plenty of top clubs are believed to be in the mix when pushing for his signature, but it doesn’t appear as if staying in Manchester is going to be an option for him.
We all know it was going to be incredibly unlikely that Aguero would move across the city to City’s bitter rivals – even if Carlos Tevez did the opposite a few years back.
Aguero has a personal and professional connection with Manchester City Football Club and making a switch like that would be the definition of disrespectful.
As such, fans can turn their attention elsewhere as the Aguero saga continues in the next few months.
