According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, the fact that Mauricio Pochettino is now available to fill any managerial vacancy has not changed Manchester United’s position when it comes to their own manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It’s safe to say that the Norwegian has had a mixed year during his time at Old Trafford as the gaffer, and yet despite that, many fans are ready to stick with him in order to see whether or not he can turn the ship around.
That’ll probably last until at least the end of the current season, so long as the results don’t get any worse, but beyond that there is certainly a desire to see Pochettino make his way into the mix.
Pochettino was sacked last night from his role as Tottenham Hotspur manager, and has immediately been replaced by former United and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho within a matter of hours.
