No offers for Benayoun

Yossi Benayoun’s future of Liverpool has been the subject of a moderate amount of speculation. The Israeli winger has not managed to awe the Liverpool fans and rumours are circulating that Rafa Benitez would not be opposed to letting the former West Ham player leave.

However, the player’s agent has now come out to say that, while his client is open to any move that might come his way, he is happy at Liverpool.

“At the moment we are not in negotiations,” said Benayoun’s agent, according to Setanta Sports.

“Benayoun is happy to play for Liverpool and there hasn’t been any official approach for the player.

“Anyway he believes Roma are an important club and he likes the Italian league.

“But Yossi is fine at Liverpool and nobody told us about a possible transfer and no negotiations are in progress.”
