Championship side Reading have said that they are yet to receive any offers for Republic of Ireland winger Stephen Hunt.

The 28-year-old had revealed his intention was to leave the Championship club last month, in order to play in the Premier League.

But despite speculation linking him with several clubs, Royals director of football Nick Hammond has revealed Hunt is no nearer to leaving the Madejski Stadium.

Hammond told the Reading Post: “Nothing is on the table or happening with that. He has been in training over the past two days and is working hard.”

“He’s a professional and while he remains a Reading player he will be working hard in training with the rest of the squad.”
