According to a recent report from Marca, Sevilla do not plan on attempting to make Anthony Martial’s move permanent.
While Martial may have gone to Spain in the hope of reigniting his career, it doesn’t quite seem as if that’s been able to come to fruition.
Instead, the on-loan Manchester United star is expected to head back to Old Trafford, which hasn’t exactly been a place that has brought him much joy in recent times.
The 26-year-old should still have many good years ahead of him at the elite level but he needs to try and rediscover his spark. With a new manager coming into United during the summer he may be able to get something resembling a fresh start, but for a striker, it all comes down to confidence.
There’s likely to be no shortage of offers but if the Frenchman wants to stay at Sevilla, he needs to have a really impressive end to the campaign.
